Partnership-building Activity to:
- meet our partners personally – in every organization people come and go, so for better
cooperation it is good to meet face to face from time to time
- meet new partners both from South-east Europe region as well as from Program Countries who are interested in further cooperation in a framework of Youth in Action;
- discuss our recourses and needs;
- find fields of common interest in youth work and common needs;
- find and share ideas for new Youth Exchanges, Training Courses and other projects;
- plan future projects and establish possible partnerships.
To do this we would like to invite representatives of your organizations (1 or 2 people from organization) to Warsaw, Poland. During 5-days meeting we will be Discovering, Dreaming, Designing and Delivering. It means that methodology of the activity will be based on Appreciative Inquiry “4-D” Cycle – “a particular way of asking questions and envisioning the future that fosters positive relationships and builds on the basic goodness in a person, a situation, or an organization. In so doing, it enhances a system's capacity for collaboration and change.”
Moreover we will discuss our ideas for the projects, find possible ways of organizing them and establish possible partnerships.
Results of the project will be:
- network of youth organizations and youth workers;
- bank of ideas for common projects, both Youth Exchanges and Training Courses;
- drafts of new international youth projects.
When? – March 2010 (arrival and departure date); our proposal is 17-21th March
Where? – Warsaw, Poland
Who? – We would like to invite people who act active role in designing and implementing youth projects (1 or 2 people from organization).
Finances! 70% of actual travel costs will be refunded after the project, 100 % of accommodation
and food costs will be covered. 100% of visa costs will be covered.
