The description of the Organization:
The purpose of this program is to visit youth centers in different countries and to examine working conditions. Younger members will recognize the different cultures as well as representatives of other countries when the city will have the opportunity to promote their culture.
We are looking for participants from 4 countries for this programme.

After approving of the project by the National Agency we recover to the participant 70 % of all their travel costs, and 100% of accommodation, board (food) and program costs.
When: First week of August 2010

WHO ARE WE ?
We are all members of the Tekirdağ Youth Centre. The three of us study at Science High School in Tekirdağ. Our school is one of important high school in countrywide. There are lots of awards and certificates of achievement. Tekirdağ High School chooses only students who are able to make ninty correct answers of one hundred questions in national exam all over the Turkey.
Tekirdağ is close to ISTANBUL, only one hour far away from Istanbul, you can visit for a day.
Senem Kılıçlıoğlu (32), who's the leader of the group, is our teacher of Turkish Language & Literature. She's an project expert of European Union National Agency (1.1&1.2).
Moreover, our group includes an Ebru Art Teacher, Folk-Dance Trainer, Turkish Language and Literature Teacher.
TARGET GROUP:
• To be able to communicate in English
• Must be members of any official youth organizations
• To be eager to recognize the new environment and new cultures
• To be willing to build international friendships
• To be a good introduction to own country
• Must have qualifications to be able to accommodate other countries
• Be between the ages of 16-30
• 6 participants
AIMS:
• To recognize workspaces and working conditions of other countries
• To share information between members in youth centers to each other to provide
• To motivate teenagers to develop social and cultural development.
• To enable students to involve in all social activities.
• To develop and make common the teenagers work
• To guide the teenagers to social, cultural and sport activities according to their abilities and interest to spend their free time.
• To develop teenagers character and give them responsibility and confidence by addressing their cultural, social needs.
• To encourage the active participation of young people in the life of their local, regional, national-international community
MAIN ACTIVITIES :
• Intercultural and teambuilding activities
• Group discussions
• Drama workshops and performances
• Seminars
• To promote cultural dishes, clothes, Folk-Dance.
• Art of Ebru
• Trip to Istanbul ( Topkapı Palace, Dolmabahçe Palace, St. Anthony Church..)
• Discussions, constructive arguing..
