Title: Get to know yours rights
Theme: Women Rights
Target Group: Young people between 18 and 30 years old
Action: Action 4.3 - Training and Networking of those active in youth work and youth organizations
Aim: Right to live freedom and with security/Right for dignity and no – discrimination
Objectives:
- Promoting the interest in humans Rights (women Rights)
- To recognize women rights in different part of the world
- To capacity and multiplying the defenders to promote women rights in the world
- To capacity youngster to identify the abuse/ violence of women Rights
- To deep the knowledge in women Right concept
- To demonstrate and preparing Youth NGOs in Women Rights situations
- To analyze and distinguishing different case of Humans Rights as way to know and avoiding mistakes with women Right.
- To plan for solving the problems and violence against women
- To propose the recommendation of “Wrights protection” for the future action
- To prevent the violence against Women Rights situation
- To stimulate the youngster to work and developing projects in women Rights questions.
- To empower the dynamic in young women about understanding and education of Women Rights.
Short of descriptions: JURE is youth organization composed in his majority for immigrants overcoat young Africans that have the purpose to be the platform aid for African immigrants in the community, both of 1st generation and their children, considered immigrants from 2nd generation. We’ll develop this project also to give all partners/participants the opportunity to know a little of the reality and African’s culture in our community. We work with the Africans women in “Monte de Caparica”, above all youngster with origin in the countries of the official Portuguese language. One of the main problems what they face is the integration in the society, overcoat the search of job and the inequality/lack of opportunity that have.
Ours interest to realise this project is develop the Women Rights projects in several regions to be able to deep the network between NGOs, sharing experiences and knowledge. We need to approach youth intervention in W. Right. The lack information and knowledge in Women Rights, we saw which our common idea it’s really important to work with others countries as way to become WR one arm for the better world.
Duration: one week (7 days)
Date and place: 15 to 21 February, 2009 (14 February is the day of arrival and 22 the day of departure) – Almada city
Host Country: Portugal, JURE (5 participants 3 trainers = 8)
Partner Countries: 10 Countries (EU member country)
Number of Participants: 35 from EU member’s countries
Accommodation: The accommodation during the training course will be in twin (double) triple or forth rooms (meaning: your share a room with a person from the same sex) in the Youth’s lodging.
Financial Condition:
• 70% of international travel costs are covered by the Youth Program funds; this amount will be reimbursed, presenting original bill and original travel tickets and boarding passes.
• 100% visa cost.
• Fee of participation 40€, directly deducted in reimburse of the travel’s ticket.
